Our History
MI Gulf Services was established under the name of Dresco (Private) Limited in 1977 in order to provide Drilling Fluids and Engineering Services in the Middle East. The company subsequently changed its name to Dresco LLC in 1996 and later to MI Gulf Services LLC in 2002 since which time it has witnessed dramatic growth on a year-on-year basis. Headquartered at the Oilfields Supply Center Ltd. Common User Supply Base in Jebel Ali Free Zone – Dubai, MI Gulf Services operates a purpose built logistics and bulk drilling fluids facility, which maintains a large inventory of drilling fluids products and equipment that service projects and clients across the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia.
Dresco Pvt. Ltd is established and Fluids operations are started in Dubai and Oman
1977Started expansion of additional business lines to include Solids Control & Waste Management services to MI Gulf Services portfolio
1999Name changed to MI Gulf Services LLC
2002Oilfields Supply Center Ltd. acquired 40% shareholding from M-I SWACO to hold 100% ownership of MI Gulf Services LLC
